A “musicians musician” if you will. Nashville-based Scotty Huff’s breadth of experience and talent make him a force to be reckoned with in all genres of the music industry. He is a respected and in-demand multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, music director, record producer, film composer, songwriter, arranger, podcaster, educator, and entrepreneur. Born the son of professional musicians, Scotty’s entire life has been immersed in music. He draws on that lifetime of experience and skill and injects it all into his various projects.

His early career shaped his diverse skill-set via various jazz ensembles, salsa bands, orchestras, brass quintets, rock bands, country bands, and other groups. After moving to Nashville in 1997, Scotty found himself touring, performing, and recording with artists including Keith Urban, Natalie Cole, The Mavericks, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, and Keb’Mo. He has participated in many notable recording projects, including the Grammy Award-winning album, “Oklahoma” by Keb’Mo. His abilities are further highlighted in his film score, audiobook, and mobile app compositions, including the over 50 projects he has composed and produced for Scholastic. As a producer, Scotty uses his broad skill-set to break his projects out of the cookie-cutter mold so often found in the music industry. And Scotty is passionate about using his skills and experience toward helping artists with their creative efforts as a mentor. After earning his Master of Arts in Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Boston, he has added “College Professor” to his list of accomplishments.
