The ALSC Names “Leo: A Ghost Story” As Part of Its List of Notable Children’s Recordings for 2018

The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) recently announced it’s list of Notable Children’s Recording for 2018. Among the list was a Scholastic film who’s musical score was composed and produced by Scotty – “Leo: A Ghost Story”. Here’s what the ALSC had to say:

Leo: A Ghost Story. By Mac Barnett. Weston Woods, CD and book. Ages 4-8.
A richly textured soundscape composed by Scotty Huff, coupled with an adroit reading by Nicol Zanzarella, gives depth to this tale of a ghost making a (real) friend.
Scotty’s response:
I’m honored enough to be able to work on these projects, but when they win awards or accolades it’s just icing on the cake. But to be named directly is truly humbling. The real praise goes to Paul Gagne and the rest of the team at Weston Woods Studios where these films are produced.
